The McElveen Library features a state-of -the-art computer lab and reference lab area with 54 desktop computers, a teen room with two gaming desktop computers, three listening station computers equipped with headphones and microphone access, craft area, expanded children's collection and children's reading area with four ThinkPad computers with learning games, four desktop computers for the parents convenience, a quiet reading lounge, activity/conference room with overhead projection and net meeting capabilities, a separate general collection and reference collections with respective circulation desks, books on tape in ipod form. Additionally, the Quiet Cup coffee bar is located inside serving "Starbucks Coffee," with a variety of hot and cold beverages and snack items.
